KAZU Interview – California 1986

I’d like to share with you a bit of Transformation Game history. It’s an audio interview I had with a radio station in California in 1986 shortly after I’d moved to the USA with Kathy Tyler to put the Game in a Box. We started from scratch to re-birth the game in a play-it-yourself simpler, shorter format and, as a fundraising initiative, we began taking pre-orders and inviting people to become Honorary Angels and cheerleaders for the newly emerging version.

The Transformation Game in a Box was launched the following year after many months of extensive test playing and development and moved onto the world market. What would be the response from the general public? 5,000 Games sold in the first year 🙂

Fast forward 35 years! Kathy and I are now living in the Findhorn Foundation once again and, with the skilled facilitation team of Mary Inglis, Judy McAlister and Yasko Takahashi, we’re adapting the Group Game to an interactive technology that uses small breakout rooms, whole group sharings, and facilitated in-depth dialogues to support us in gracefully freeing up our creative potential and embodying new vision.

I hope you’ll enjoy listening to this interview and that you’ll feel inspired to play the online Global Transformation Game with us in its’ newly evolving virtual format. We are holding space for you to add your insight and wisdom and together we can access and mindfully anchor the changes that are needed this Summer.
